Floral Simplicity

Added Feb 21, 2010

Nordrhein Westfa...

I saw this floral fabric at a local fabric store and immediately had to have it. Unfortunately, it was only a rest of 50cm. That is why it took me some time to think about what to do with it.
In the end I chose to sew a simple skirt. I combined the floral fabric with black satin, which I used for the waist band and the inside of the pockets.
The pattern I used was from a Japanese Book called “One-piece & Skirt”, which contains some really nice and simple projects.

Material Notes

Rayon, Satin, elastic tape

Garment Type
Bohemian, Grunge, Romantic
Rayon, Satin

Hhm, there were 2 ISBN numbers given. I do not really know which one you will need. So I will give you both and hope it works! :)
      ISBN-10: 4415307272
      ISBN-13: 978-4415307275

Ohh cute. Is the back of the skirt the same floral fabric or is it the black satin? Either way it looks very cute.

Luckily, I had enough of the floral fabric to use it for the back, too. But you are right! The black satin would have worked, too! :)

There is NO WAY you’re a novice, Annette! You need to change your skill level. ;)

    This is so cute!
