This dress is from ‘Gerties New Book for Better Sewing’ and I actually made it at the end of last summer but never wore it as the weather changed so drastically the day after I finished it! So as its suddenly sunny again I pulled it out and realised I never put it up here. I love it so much! Its very feminine and lovely to wear. Looks great with a netted skirt underneath too. I found the bodice too wide in the shoulder area and the sleeves too big and puffy so I took out a lot of fabric here. I also had some troubles getting the collar to lay completely flat in places but I think overall it worked well and I cant wait to get it on this summer! Highly recommend making this dress.
