My second ever original shirt design. This time I started with a muslin and only went through two versions before it was perfected. I drafted my own pattern using probably 6 measurements. I used wider straps so it feels less like a tank top and more like a real shirt. I also gathered the bottom part for some extra girly-ness. The muslin was modeled after a sheer fabric so the top part of the shirt has four pieces to it – front, back, front facing, and back facing. I’m going to try a few more versions with different bottom halves.
P.S. you might notice that the right sleeve slouches a little – needs a little adjustment to the armpit.
