A cute little sundress I made for my friends granddaughter.
The bodice front and back are interfaced and a second layer forms a facing.
The skirt is slightly odd as it has side extensions and is gathered at the waist.
The pattern advised to slip stitch the bodice in place, but I just top stitched, a bit wonky, but still cute.
Buttons were from my mums old button box.
This would also make a cute pinafore dress for winter made from courdroy or denim with a jumper underneath.
4 buttons, interfacing, thread
Pattern of the Week
The oversized shape has a cool bell shaped silhouette with a wide body and fitted sleeves
