Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My first project using my new Dressform!! This took me about one night and an hour the next day to finish, it is burda young 7233. I love the lines the seams give it, i was very impressed with this pattern, definitely one of my favorites!! 16 in zipper in the back and bow in the front. Fabric is linen, found it at Joanns!

You’ve done a magnificent job on this … It looks soooo professional … Your dress form seems to have also paid for itself already! :) I can’t imagine sewing this one without a form … or a VERY patient friend who would stay with you to help with such perfect fitting. It also shows off you beautiful figure too. :)

gorgeous dress!!!! I want this! :) I have a very similar fabric, linen blend, with the same purple/pink florals… i bought 1.15m for a Vogue dress, but realised afterwards I actually needed 1.6m! So now I have 1.15m of fabric to use for another project. How much fabric did this dress need?

i actually had only 1 yard! It was the end of the bolt, and i was hoping i had enough.. but i ended up have some left over! I think 1 yard converts to a little short of a meter
