12 hours later + $8 worth of fabric = My first dress ever!
I used the contour bust pattern and made a few tweaks. I cut it a little too short so I added some ruffles to the bottom with a layer of lace. I also noticed that the front was puffed out in a way that made me look…pregnant? So I tucked in the fabric where the skirt meets the top and sewed across to get rid of the “poof.” I also didn’t have a zipper handy…and I REALLY wanted to finish this dress! So I put a bow on the back. Perfect!
