Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Went out on a limb to try a new shape on my very rectangular frame. I altered this skirt a lot – drafted pencil skirt back panels, moved the zipper to the back, lined it and added pockets (although I’m not too happy with them at the moment…too small I think?) Didn’t even need darts in the back! I still need to hem it and add a closure to the waistband but I think I like it? Might take me a while to warm up to it. Luckily I found this material for $1 at the thrift store, although it’s so beautiful I’d hate to have it sit in the closet!
