I made this lovely dress from Simplicity 1610 pattern from a lovely Oscar de la Renta silk twill I purchased from Mood Fabrics online. I lowered the back neckline for a bit more sex appeal and fully lined the dress. I love the pockets and fit and flare of this girly dress and look forward to wearing it to a wedding this summer or a Kentucky Derby party with a giant hat and pretty high heeled shoes. Love this dress!
Update: I just added a photo of a Oscar de la Renta “Saffron” dress made of this same fabric. It retailed for about $3,900! Think of all the money I saved by making my own!
