Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I had seen this dress made by a few others and really liked the flounce detail and the classic look of it and thought it would suit this grey and red floral fabric I’d bought a while back. The pattern is Simplicity 2360. I roll hemmed the flounces, and used electric blue satin bias binding for the neck and arms, the dress is quick to make – but I haven’t worn it yet because I haven’t gotten round to tacking the belt and pressing it flat – I can be such a procrastinator once the excitement of seeing how the garment has turned out is over! But tomorrow I will press that belt and wear this to work on Monday :-)

I am making this now after seeing what you produced! But…. unfortunately I made it a size too small… After unpicking it all and making the seams smaller and putting in a zip, hopefully I will be able to wear it before summer runs out.!
