This dress is my second project from BurdaStyle Sewing Vintage Book. I used master pattern Elizabeth Gathered-Waist Dress for dress bodice and instead of using straight gathered-skirt that original pattern had, I used my self-drafted semi-pleated skirt pattern.
For pictures and details of pattern modifications on my blog, http://velvetribbonsew.blogspot.com/2013/03/floral-dress_19.html
I also shared my project on my new facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/velvetribbonsew.
2 yards of Japanese cotton voile, white cotton for lining, fusible interfacing, invisible zipper and same color thread.
Leopard and snakeskin are the new neutrals.
