For the blouse, I used Simplicity 2892. It is sleeveless with pleating at the neckline. I used a cotton floral swiss dot. There are cute little button closures at the back neck and on the waistband. It was very easy to make! It felt nice and light to wear in the sweltering heat but will also work later on with cardigans and jackets. For the pant, I used Burda Style Magazine, issue 07/2010, style 103. I used a black stretch cotton. These are slim fitting and have jean styling. They have a front zipper fly, pockets, waistband, belt loops, and back yoke. The rise is a bit too much for me- they fit above my belly button. I prefer an inch or two below. But otherwise, they are a good fitting pant. Check out my blog for more.
