This has become my favourite blouse (Burda Magazine 8/2011 # 138) as it is so comfortable and cool. It was quite easy to sew mainly because the fabric was wonderful to work with. It is a Japanese cotton and the most beautiful quality. I am going to be making this blouse again and even thinking of making it into a dress by extending the hem length. I really like the neckline and gentle gathers coming off it.
Japanese cotton form Lisa’s Fabrics, Southport, Gold Coast. And back neckline buttons from my Mum’s button collection.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
