I was unhappy with the selection of Toddler Quilts or bedding and so I decided to make my own in fleece. I wanted it to be cute, match her room, be warm enough to eliminate the need for other blankets, and be inexpensive. I used blocks to piece together for the front, and a solid piece of striped fleece for the back, and added blanket binding to the top.
Fleece (I used 4 colors and a solid back piece. Satin Blanket Binding. Thread.
All go to me. I designed the “quilt” on paper, estimated my fabric yardages, and sewed it all myself.
