I made this little fleece jacket for my daughter. I used McCall’s pattern MP293. I got the fleece in WalMart’s clearance section for $2.40 a yard! I added the embroidery which was inspired by a child’s garment I saw in Anthropologie a few months ago. I really like what it adds to the jacket. This had been washed and worn a couple of times before I could get to the photos so please excuse the pilling :).
This is the first piece of clothing that I’ve made that has sleeves and a hood, I’m really happy with how it turned out.

This coat is darling! I have had my eye on that pattern since it came out but have not decided whether or not to buy it. It is really cute the way you did it.
