My son’s favorite toy is a stuffed brown and white dog, so I made him a costume to match.
Based on Butterick #6695, I had to shrink the pattern a lot (he was supposed to fit the Small, but it was far too long, and ended up pretty big anyway). I think the ears are still too big and kinda rabbit-like, but he’s pretty cute anyway. Also, I didn’t like the plain pattern with way-too-circular spots, so I edited some white into the brown pattern sections (the stomach and legs) to look more like his doggie.
I thought about changing out the velcro in the back for a zipper, but ran out of time. It would be an easy change to make.
brown and white fleece, velcro closures, elastic around ankles
