i had to make a garment for flat pattern, and i ended up deciding to make two to challenge myself. i made a 3/4 sleeve, peter pan collar shirt made of a rayon blend turquoise knit. i love how it feels, but i ran out of fabric and it’s too short. i’m going to go back and add a band to the bottom to make keep it from being a belly shirt.
the shorts were sooooo hard to pattern. they are high waisted and have inverted pleats at the top and a middle waistband. they are about 2 inches too big in the waist so i’m going to have to repattern them to make them fit. i love how they look though.
rayon blend for the top and a stretch cotton poplin for the shorts
