Made out of purple stretch denim and using mustard/rusty topstitching thread, using my old favourite Burda 7863 which is a skinny legged jeans pattern, with the following modifications:
Flared the pants legs out from knee level down to the ankle length by 5cm each edge, making for a 20cm extra flare for each ankle. Voila, bell-bottoms!
Added a zip placket and a coin pocket, and left off the pocket flaps
