I love silk fabrics. My last project was silk tunic, at this time it´s a silk dress. I´ve purchased this wonderful (and very expensive) silk fabrics several years ago but I couln´t find enough courage to cut into it. But when the summer came I desired for long summer dress. I decided finally that I would sew the dress from the silk fabrics according to a modell No. 127 from Burda 6/2000.

I have that issue of Burda and I was looking at it the other day, but I never would have chosen this dress to make, since the styling is so “gaucho”. But yours looks so lovely, and the silk print is gorgeous! Nice :)

Beautiful dress! It takes a lot of nerve to pull it off with silk. I’d be too afraid to cut! I love it!
