I really like this skirt with a high waistline, with a concealed button front and slanted pockets with wide flaps. Great pattern.
It can easily be made for warm or cool weather. If you don’t want to bother with concealed button front, make it simple with classic buttoning or with zipper on the back.

I liked the pattern in the magazine but wasn’t sure if it worth sewing because was afraid of it widening the hips. So I wanted to see a real woman wearing the skirt. And it really looks nice, the fabric matches well and to add it with a belt is a good decision.

It looks great – I have this pattern marked to trace soon . I had been thinking that I would put a zip in the back like you said. it would save time on buttonholes – I don’t think I’d have the patience!
