I’ve been looking for maternity pants everywhere and just couldn’t find anything that I liked, so I’ve decided to make them…
I’ve used the Burda 02/12 maternity pants pattern, but didn’t like the skinny hem, so I modified it to be more flared and added pockets.
They are so comfortable!! I recommended any mama-to-be to make them.

Great job! I think being able to sew our own maternity pants is a super gift! I’m waiting for the weather to get colder until I make my own though… ;)

oh! congratulations! when are you due?
These days I mostly wear dresses because of the heat too, but sometimes when I know I’m going to be near an air condition all day, I like to wear “cool” pants :-) the burda pattern is great by the way and very easy to modify. I’m going to make at least two more of it. one with a gray denim fabric (maybe skinny) , and another with linen fabric “Marlene Ditrich” style.

I still have time to try these out till March…
I’m working on the BM T-shirt pattern, if a basic piece works out for me, there’s no stopping! I’ll try the pants later on for sure!

I love these pants! They look really comfy. I like how you added the flare too! I’ve been eyeing this pattern even though I’m not pregnant. I want to see if I can modfy the top to be non-maternity. Great job, they look fantastic on you.
