When I lost my favourite ceramic bowl due to my toddler pulling at a corner of a traditional tablecloth, I decided I had enough of tablecloth washing, stain removing and flying across the room in attempt to save a bowl or a mug. The time for the PVC cloth arrived in our household.
As we have a round table it is always an issue of too much excess material hanging off edges. Solution arrived pretty quickly – this will have to be fitted.
Ordered some PVC fabric, cut a circle, and also cut a long bias tape out of an old bed sheet – as it will be tucked underneath it won’t matter.
This was a 30 minute job, and you don’t even need to iron it!
PVC / vinyl fabric; Bias tape long enough to go around it; Elastic band
