  I agree….lovely dress, great fit ! However, please talk about your dressform. What’s underneath the padding? Is it a store-bought dressform you covered to match your measurements? Details please ! Thank you in advance.

    The dressform is a “Uniquely You” brand dress-form. It is a foam body that comes with a fabric cover and a metal stand. You need a lot of help from a good friend to pin the fabric cover to your body to shape it, and then zipper it over the foam form so that it ends up shaped like you. I wanted a dress form to help me with fitting my long torso and swayback problems, and the Uniquely You was the most affordable that would let me customize it in that way. I will say that getting the form set up took the better chunk of a day with my mom’s help, but I really love it since it is fully pin-able, has a stand, and has my shape. Out of the box the foam core looks a little crazy, but it actually works very well once completed.
