Los Altos, Calif...

Mini-dress made from patches and yo-yos.
I used a mix of Liberty prints, silk charmeuse, silk velvet, and illusion net.
Sadly, this dress was lost during the Subway Strike!

Garment Type
Cotton, Blends, Knits/Jersey, Shirting, Silk, Velvet

Great work and great colourcombination.Maybe you can place an empty shoebox somewhere and everytime you have some fabric remnants you put them in it and so you save new material for your next beautifull dress.

This is absolutely beautiful, I love it! What a shame you don’t have it any more. Tragic. I would have cried…

Wow that’s crazy and I can’t help liking it! :) Looks like a lot of hard work went into it. I don’t understand what the Subway Strike is but it’s a shame if you don’t have it any more.
