Fishy & Retro Throw Cushions

Toronto, Canada

Another Christmas gift for one of my other friends back in my hometown. She really likes 50s, 60s inspired prints and naturey themes. I found this really great store over on Queen Street in Toronto, that sells all these really great (but kinda pricey) fabrics! I also added buttons with the same fabric covering and used a set of two different prints for each side to add interest. Anyhow she was very happy and is commissioning me for another set of two.. I need to get some more stuffing~

Material Notes

Cotton fabric, button covering kit, stuffing.

Thank you for the lovely comment! Sorry I didn’t really use a pattern for these :(.

I bought these precut squares of fabric from stacks in the store. So I basically just trimmed off some fabric lengthwise to cover the button, sewed around the edges rounding off the corners, stuffed and added the button!
