i bought this material, apparently it’s a vintage bedsheet.. but anyway, absolutely fell in love with it and i’ve made this dress :) which im quite happy with!
i got the idea from one of maryy’s dresses with the ruffles on the sleeves. i used jj’s sloper bodice pattern for the top bit and the skirt was just some rectangles
then i discovered how easy it was to do buttons with a sewing machine, hence the button up back :)
kinda wish i had yellow or bright orange buttons..i might go out and buy some and replace the pink ones
anyway this was super fun and easy to make and i think its kinda cute..now i want a yellow jacket to go with it..ahhhh spring <3
light cotton, buttons
