Description

I’ve had this suit fabric for ages and had intended to make a waistcoat but on discovering I had more material then I thought decided to have a go at a pair of trousers, something I have not done before.
I used a pattern from The Great British Sewing Bee’s “Sew Your Own Wardrobe” book and my only real issue was I think their seam allowance is a little over generous as I ended up with a very skinny waistband.
That said it was an easy pattern to follow and I’m happy with how they turned out.

Material Notes

Wool mix suit material.
