Description

I have sewn this few months ago. As I remember, I have cut bigger size, I think 40, because I wanted it to be very wide (my regular size is between 36 and 38 for the tops; for bottoms I’m shy to say how much bigger I am ;)). For the first time I was dealing with stripes matching, and it was not difficult at all. For the neckline binding I have followed tutorial of Megan Nielsen (she is one of the tutorial queens).
Again I will mention that hemming was the most and the only problematic thing. Maybe I am not made for hemming!
One more note! I have experienced for the few times tiny holes in jersey fabric. Does it mean that it is low quality, cause this jersey was not cheap at all, or that I was not careful enough? I have noticed that for me is very easy to make or find these holes.

Material Notes

cotton jersey

You have done a great job with this with matching the stripes :) Since jersey are knitted fabric it’s easy to get small holes when using the washing machine, and a tip is to use washing bag and wash it on a care program (like wool). Hope this can be helpful :)
