Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is my first dress.
I love this pattern, it’s easy to make and perfect fitting… I designed new straps for a kind of ‘50s look. They can be tied around the neck or on front, creating a nice knot (I forgot to take a pic of it, I’ll add it soon).

I gatherd it by hand, sewing separately inside lining ad outside. Nothing difficult ;) You can see cups are bigger cause I added 2 cm to the pattern, I think it’s necessary for this dress if you wear more than a 32/34!

I’m glad to see a fellow “ample bosomed beauty” rocking this dress! I was sort of on the fence about it, but now I can’t wait to whip one up. So, can you tell me if “the girls” feel secure? I’m always afraid of a wardrobe malfunction in low cut numbers. Thanks! Wonderful job!

The girls are secure ;) usually I wear this dress with a lace tank top or anything can match nicely under it…just not to show too much!
Anyway I tried it on while sewing, added 2 cms to original size 42. Then I regulated the back to hold tight.
+ Inside is all lined with a heavy stretch cottong, it really helps…les jeux sont fait!
