Description
This is my first at-home creation – a gathered empire dress. I wanted to make something simple and easy, but also noticeable! I modeled this dress after a Frenzii tube top that I have in my closet – always wanted it to be a dress…and now it is!

thanks for the encouraging comments :)… yes, the dress actually does stay up!!…at first, the elastic piece i used was too long, so the dress would slide down after a while. but once i altered and shortened the elastic strips in the bust piece to make the hold tighter, i no longer had that slippage prob.
