I have downloaded many pattern from the internet including the Coffee Date Dress (petit size, thanks to Elaine), but I haven’t tried to make any of them since I got confused to determine which size of the pattern should I use. Usually I draw my own pattern every time I want to sew my clothes or for my daughters. Now I have more time to explore my sewing skill and also dare to try the simple and remarkable Coffee Date Dress.
I have no clue regarding size, but I think petit size is fine with me. While I sew, I wish that there someone can teach me how to determine the perfect size for me. Then I just cut the pattern, plotting it on the fabric, cut, and sew and forget about the ruffles. And then…. time to fit it…. :D (I really can’t wait to see the result)
If you see the picture of me in the dress I wish there’s no one notice that I try to hold my breath because the dress is little too tight… LOL!!!
Overall, I feel very happy with the result and I will try the bigger size that will fit in me… Wish me luck! :)
I use the floral printed cotton which I bought two years ago :P
I really love the color.
