Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Made from 2005 or 2006 Burda pattern, this coat is my very first big and mentionable project.
I went to buy the fabric which is a woven mix of wool and polyesther.
I made a lining (satin i guess, not sure) and stitched it all by hand into the fabric outside.
Re did the cuff a little months later because it was spliting.
Made an error on a pocket closure but i like it like it is…
Learnt how to make the buttonholes in 3 or 4 hours, it was tricky but i’m happy to had learn that with someone it could have been worse alone!!
I’m really pleased by my first project. I’ll be probably making others pictures this winter of the coat worn.
