I used Gertie’s pattern B5882 to make that dress. I’ve changed the straps for a halter and I’ve added seam pocket. I’ve used embroidered gingham in red and white and red cotton poplin for the contrast and the lining. I was inspired by “Cha-Cha” in the movie “Grease” but made a summer dress that is easier to wear than an evening one. I always wanted a dress like that so when I saw the pattern I bought it.
