Actually the mittens end up a little bit too big and look like a mismatch from different pairs. The thing about the Noro yarn is that it has so many colors in it that one mitten is not enough to accommodate all the colors. But I love them anyway. I think I can get away with them as mismatched slouchy mittens.
The black hood was knitted flat, then folded and sewed along the back. The black yarn has some kind of silvery things going on in it, but I guess the camera didn’t capture it really well.

What a beautiful yarn choice to the patterns! I love both! I wanted to make a hand warmer and hood for a while!

Beautiful! I see the hood with a scarf attached-perfect for my Canadian winters!

I think the mittens look like siblings, or like a couple… not the same at all, but they clearly belong together. And I like them a lot, they remind me of an enchanted forest full of trolls and fairies… (the hood is nice too!)
