I had admired and wanted to do the cut-out bustline for quite a while now. Was very hesitant to give it a try because I have so much boobs and also the right fabric hasn’t presented itself yet. 2 weeks ago I found the fabric and the colour is beautiful so I finally mustered up the courage and here it is:
I modified it slightly instead of a full skirt I did a flared skirt instead my very own pattern that I love so dearly. Put in an invisible zipper and completely lined it and add pockets for functionality.
The construction was not too difficult but it requires patience to get the fit right. I am extremely pleased with the overall look :-)
