My old sewing machine had quite a bit of trouble with sewing jersey and basically anything stretchy. I bought a serger a week ago and made this dress to celebrate ;) Only the stitching on front and back pleat was done on the sewing machine, the rest is serger only (OK, I serged the hems and than stitched them in place by hand). It went together very easily and it’s a fun dress to wear. Originally I wanted to make the collar smaller and fold it double. The weight of the fabric might have made that a bit bulky though and I realized that I enjoy playing around with all that fabric. I can always chop a bit off later, if I grow tired of having that huge length around my neck.

I’m in love with all of your creations but this must be my favourite. Especially the collar caught my attention. Love it!

I love this SO much. The collar is crazy, but in a really good way. And the colour looks great on you!

I love this dress! The construction with the pleat in the front and the collar look super-cool. And I remember that great feeling of serging jersey for the first time :)

I like that you mixed the medieval and modern knit into the design. The box pleat in the skirt is very classic. This length is just right for you.
