This looks great ! Must have been really nerve-wracking to sew the material but you did an amazing job !

Thank you! Ironically, the black opaque fabric was HORRIBLE to work with. Slid all over the place. The organza? A dream. (This will probably never happen again .. !)

This is gorgeous! I love the wispiness of it! The volume has such a different feel with this super sheer fabric! This is possibly one of my favorite pieces I’ve seen in a long time! really lovely! I also am thrilled to hear more about your thought process… french seams as skeletal gestures… feels more like a textile sculpture than a blouse. Really fab! I’ll have this in my fav’s for sure and as soon as I can get around to finding this kind of fabric near me, I’m attempting a “tribute” to it… as someone fabulous once said : )

Oh lovely! Thank you so much! It’s nice to hear that you read that :) Definitely try it out, it’s a really intriguing fabric to work with, and so many interesting things can be done with sheers. Let me know when you make it!

One of my favorite things is french seams in sheer fabric. That is so lovely. Great job.

absolutely gorgeous! great work! I find it so difficult working with chiffons, so I am so jealous of this blouse.

French seams in the armholes, I am impressed. Your blouse is very well constructed.
