Description

Using the Sophia Paper Patterns, I set out to do my second sewing project ever. Not happy with the paper patterns. As mentioned by another viewer the head/neck hole is way too small. Despite taking this into consideration and making the neck hole larger and opting for a larger size, I still couldnt button up the blouse. It could be that I am novice and I am mistaken, but surely the paper pattern should have given me accurate sizes.

So I skipped the buttons and did a horrifying tie-up at the back. But I am happy that I a managed to do this project all by myself. (With lots of page rifling and googling for techniques. Yes I am that ‘novice’)

Material Notes

Cotton baby blue fabric with small white polka dots for the top. And white cotton for the bloomer pants.
