Back at the beginning of term we had a costume workshop were we just got to know the space and were taught how to use the machines etc, because i’d been using overlockers and sewing machine for 4 years already i stooped further into the CSM costume wardrobe and found this beautiful dress they must have been restoring. I inspired me instantly to design a dress for Christmas that i could wear all year! Mum picked up the fabric in the chartiy shop (i know we always go there!) there was 3.5×1.5m for £6!!! So i got to work creating the design and cutting the pattern before my ACLigament replacement. This gave me plenty of time to work on the dress, aloooooot of it was handsewing the lining and the seams because my machine broke:( The only thing slowing me down was when my cat decided to sleep on the fabric…nawwwwwww
