Description

This is the dress I made for the “Fifties Dress” Member Model Challenge (Pattern “Fifties Dress 09/2006 #193”). I mixed print and solid fabrics to make it both interesting and challenging. It was a lot of fun.

Material Notes

Rayon print fabric and cotton solid.

Love what you did with this and it fits your shape perfectly. Would love to see the back of the dress, is it all one color?

Thank you. Yes for back, I used solid fabric and did piping for the neck and armhole in print fabric to make it more interesting.

I like the emphasized hour shape figure different panels make. I’d love to see the back of the dress

Thank you! Yes, using solid and print fabrics helped emphasize the hour glass shape. For back, I used solid fabric and did piping for the neck and armhole in print fabric to make it more interesting.
