I sewed this up to wear to a local bluegrass concert/wine tasting at our town’s old victorian/edwardian ranch. It rained the whole time, but I still got to twirl a bit. I made a few changes. I lowered the neckline since I like a lower cut, and lowered the armholes since i usually have a problem with tightness in the armscye.I also used a shorter zipper than called for and stopped it about 4 inches from the top so I could add pearl buttons and elastic loops for a more Edwardian look.
