For my first Etsy project I wanted to create a basic shift dress with the added styling of an exposed zipper. The Fatina pattern seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. I also decided to try French seams for the first time, so this dress is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the out. Other reviewers had mentioned using back-darts to create a more tailored look, which I also did as the pattern is otherwise a bit boxy.
