This ornament is a gift to a family that are friends of ours for Christmas. I used wool felt and embroidery and took my inspiration from part of the print on a piece of Japanese imported fabric that I have. I love the colors and the styling of this fabric and the tree looks quite pretty as an ornament.
wool felt, embroidery thread, ric-rac, polyfil

Creative and colorful interpretation! Resembles the “tree of life” pattern as in the Garden of Eden.

So creative. I love beautiful ornaments. It also seems like a great way to use up leftover fabric.
