This is a very popular girl’s pattern by Nancy Langdon of Studio Tantrum. After making numerous ones for family and customers, I finally made a couple for my own little princess.
The peacock one was for holidays and special events. The Matryoshka was for her birthday.
Peacock: corduroy, cotton wovens, ribbons and trims
Matryoshka: cotton wovens(Jennifer Paganelli’s Dance with Me) ribbons, and lots of lace. On this one I serged the edges with multi-color thread to add color and texture.
