Description

My latest dress project involved the awesome vintage pattern Simplicity put back into print recently, the Simplicity Jiffy 1609. When I saw this pattern in the email Simplicity sent out a while ago I knew I had to buy it! I mean, vintage 1960s?! Score! This pattern is very easy to follow and make and only has 4 pieces: front piece, back piece, back facing, and front facing.

I also snagged up an awesome floral print at JoAnn’s that has a retro vibe to it. I even made a skirt from the leftover fabric because I love it so much. Of course you can find more pics and more details on my blog.

Great fabric!!! It reminds me of a very similar dress and fabric that my Mum made me when I was 12 in 1969. I loved that dress and thought I was just so special in it. And I am sure you look great in this dress. Enjoy wearing it.
