My latest dress project involved the awesome vintage pattern Simplicity put back into print recently, the Simplicity Jiffy 1609. When I saw this pattern in the email Simplicity sent out a while ago I knew I had to buy it! I mean, vintage 1960s?! Score! This pattern is very easy to follow and make and only has 4 pieces: front piece, back piece, back facing, and front facing.
I also snagged up an awesome floral print at JoAnn’s that has a retro vibe to it. I even made a skirt from the leftover fabric because I love it so much. Of course you can find more pics and more details on my blog.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
