I tried to keep a look like a DVF wrap dress. retro print and simple.
I found quite similar pattern from my patten book which i copied last year. this was from burda style magazine 09/2006. I deleted some of details and changed sleeve length and design.
It was such a exciting project and gave me a lot of fun to make it. I love my own wrap dress and it makes me feel so much like a woman.

Wow, I love this design. Great job! I’ve been looking for a wraparound dress pattern with a collar like Diane Von Furstenberg’s 70’s pattern which by the way is selling for $100 and upwards online. Do any of you have any similar patterns that you know of that I could buy without breaking the bank. I don’t need to buy a pattern which costs more than the dress!!

Thanks.
I agree absolutely. I was searching original DVF pattern too but yes. It’s too expensive.
I saw one of wrap dress pattern from burda member. Sorry I don’t remember name. You can go to project and search it.
otherwise you can use any of wrap dress pattern and create looks what you want. If you keep simplicity, it looks quite similar to DVF wrap dress. I think.

Oh that’s beautiful, it reminded me of DvF before I could read your DvF idea in your description. Also a good color choice! I’m thrilled! I don`t know of any other dress pattern that feminizes us women so much.
