♫ ♪ Feel In Color
I made this dress probably very soon after release of the pattern #108A in Burda 05/2011 (maybe even a year after ,who knows, it was long time ago).. Despite my lack of dating the dress, this photo-shoot was the first time the dress has ever seen the light of day.. I liked kind of a ‘60s look of the dress and had this lightweight stripped cotton to play with.. After I sewed all the parts together, the dress spent months on my dress form, because I couldn’t figure out if I liked it or not.. The fit was good, but I was not quite sure if I placed the stripes the right way.. Maybe I should have played more with the direction of stripes.. Then I was lazy to make an underskirt for it.. I also thought that sewing an off grain seams on skirt was not so good (a bit wavy).. In the end, it was forgotten in my closet..
