Description

Another take on the ever popular JJ blouse, de-ruffled, shortened due to a lack of fabric and shot outside in the not-quite balmy early Spring here in Philadelphia. I do so love this blouse, and having made it before it was quite simple to whip up again. It’s nice when things get easier with time, isn’t it?

I got this fabric for a dollar at my beloved PA Fabric Outlet. More photos and descriptions are available here:

And don’t forget to sign up for my GIVEAWAY! Entry closes April 20th!

Material Notes

Possible a poly-cotton blend? The 1 dollar bin doesn’t really give you a lot of information…

This is soooo pretty. Really doesn’t need the ruffles. That gorgeous fabric with those cute puffy sleeves is just gorgeous!

Good job indeed! From the choice of alterations to the choice of fabric. I absolutely love those colors and the final look of the shirt is awesome.

Thank you! I really love the fabric as well, it’s a little Baroque I thought, or maybe Victorian? I don’t know…

Love the fabric. Nice alteration. Sometimes ruffles are just too much.

It really depends on the fabric, don’t you think? This just seemed way too busy for ruffles! Thank you!
