New York, New Yo...
This fun jacket pattern has extremely exaggerated lapels which make for an intriguing sculptural, layered look. We decided to combine soft faux fur and wool crepe for this project, for a Bohemian look. Worn over a Liberty of London for Target goddess gown, a jacket can lend an element of cool to the silhouette.
The original pattern calls for black wool herringbone with a velvet reverse, and is trimmed with petersham ribbon. We left out the ribbon trim and made a lining pattern tracing the pattern pieces of the jacket. The two front lapels are “lined” in the faux fur.
