The second project I made that actually fit properly. This was based off of a modified Simplicity pattern and were originally made for a Makise Kurisu cosplay back in January 2013. These were also made in the Dark Ages, so this material was hand sewn.
Yes, you heard me right. HAND. SEWN. INDY. VINYL.
These shorts were a BEAST to complete. Sewing vinyl is no joke, even with a machine. This thing destroyed almost a quarter of my pins, and I stabbed myself too many times to count with pins and needles (especially when sewing the waistband), at least six times hard enough to make me bleed. X_X Worth it though!
These zip up on the front and are hooked into the top with two hook and bars.
