Step 1 Create a pattern from a neck cast

To take my neck measurements I covered my neck in a layer of cling wrap, then a layer of masking tape. I then cut the cast off down the centre back seam using a pair of scissors.
I cut the cast up into seven pieces, placing the seams wherever they looked best. Each piece was then flat enough to cut out of fabric, adding 1cm seam allowance.
